Rebellion Hearing - Opening Remarks and Discussion

[OOC Note: Changing how hearings work a bit. Again. Eventually I'll find a proper formula!

Hearings are now a more IC premise, mechanically, what they will be is a series of bill proposals. This thread will be the main discussion thread, whenever a character wishes to propose an amendment to the hearing, they will make a separate bill post to do so. That way it won't get lost in the shuffle.

The major difference here is we won't be using any set dates, please make an initial post where amendments can be discussed and a voting post, but give at least 48 hours (two full days) before making the voting post, which should contain the finalized bill.

Since this post is the introduction, no voting will be made. Now is the time to discuss and plan, you can start proposing bills whenever you feel necessary, but be wary, there are a number of NPC councilors of high rank around and if you don't take steps to guarantee their support they may rally against you.]

This hearing will now come to order. We in the Transcendent Republic are appalled by the attacks on Confuto Ordinatio personnel. This rebellion, we feel, must be quickly repressed before it can be allowed to spread. Already, Agents and Enforcers who have their own destinies have been slain by these disgusting rebels, and it is our duty to bring it to an end.

To that end, we are pushing for the eradication of all rebels on the ground. It is up to you, fellow councilors, to approve this measure, and we must make haste. Stand with me now, we will eradicate these rebels and take back control with Confuto Ordinatio forces until proper interim governments can be installed.

I now cede the floor to opening remarks and discussions. I do not feel this hearing need be lengthy, we all know what must be done and we must act fast.
