Additional Notes: The hard-lined trade restriction of Astral Silver will be modified to allow certain non-weaponized durable goods to be imported to Isthul, augmented with Astral Silver to increase their durability and performance, and exported to buyers. Standards will be made to assure the no excessive amount of Astral Silver leaves their world, and goods will be inspected by CO personnel upon export to prevent smuggling of weapons and other dangerous materials. [OOC Note: Changing how hearings work a bit. Again. Eventually I'll find a proper formula!

Hearings are now a more IC premise, mechanically, what they will be is a series of bill proposals. This thread will be the main discussion thread, whenever a character wishes to propose an amendment to the hearing, they will make a separate bill post to do so. That way it won't get lost in the shuffle.

The major difference here is we won't be using any set dates, please make an initial post where amendments can be discussed and a voting post, but give at least 48 hours (two full days) before making the voting post, which should contain the finalized bill.

Since this post is the introduction, no voting will be made. Now is the time to discuss and plan, you can start proposing bills whenever you feel necessary, but be wary, there are a number of NPC councilors of high rank around and if you don't take steps to guarantee their support they may rally against you.]

This hearing will now come to order. We in the Transcendent Republic are appalled by the attacks on Confuto Ordinatio personnel. This rebellion, we feel, must be quickly repressed before it can be allowed to spread. Already, Agents and Enforcers who have their own destinies have been slain by these disgusting rebels, and it is our duty to bring it to an end.

To that end, we are pushing for the eradication of all rebels on the ground. It is up to you, fellow councilors, to approve this measure, and we must make haste. Stand with me now, we will eradicate these rebels and take back control with Confuto Ordinatio forces until proper interim governments can be installed.

Additional Notes:

One thing I've noticed during some of the... situations we've dealt with, there tends to be a lot of people going off to do their own thing and it seems like a lot of information just doesn't get shared with everybody else.

With that said, I'm suggesting that we establish some sort of Information Committee. Either a person or, preferably, a group of people who are expected to receive, sort, and make available important information related to the investigation. Naturally, they will have the full backing of the council and there will be punishments given out for people who are consciously withholding information.

The purpose of this is to ensure that everybody has access to the same information as much as possible. What one person discovers could lead to another's breakthrough.

I want everybody's input on this. Councilors are allowed to nominate and vote for individuals, Enforcers are allowed to nominate, and Agents can make suggestions that will be taken into consideration.

Yes, you can nominate yourself if you think you're qualified.

To be clear, the kind of people we want in this committee are those who are apt at sorting information and sharing it with the rest of the division.

Since I don't want to just force this on all of you, I'm going to open this for general discussion first in case anybody has objections or suggestions. If there are enough in support, I'll open the floor to nominations, and then voting.

Well, after this latest fiasco, I think we can all agree that something needs to be done. I've got some ideas on how to not only keep this kind of thing from happening again, but also to make sure we get personnel as good as can be spared.

Additional Notes: When we need personnel from outside the division for exercises, workshops, seminars, or any similar established procedures to improve some facet of how we work, a group of three to five personnel qualified for the job are presented to the Council. We'll hear them out, then decide which one we pick to work with us based on presentation and qualifications.

Also, these hearings will take place under a power nullification field. It'd defeat the entire purpose if someone mesmerized the council into going along.

As discussed ~~a long time ago~~ earlier! It has come to my attention that we have a whole lot of childr...rather young people in this place. Further, morale can always be boosted. Thus, I propose this bill to take care of both, with minimal costs!

C.O. hosts several defunct places, in particular a really large water slide. It is in good condition, and reactivating it would be a splendid idea for many reasons.

One, it would serve as a ~~good place to have fun~~ place for training for our younger personal, who can ~~have a lot of fun~~ get used to long falls and the like.
It should also add to the relaxation and thereby morale boosting of our older personnel, creating a win/win situation, with the only expense being some water and minor chemical usage for keeping the water clean. I believe that the minimal cost is justified by the colossal gain!

As I'm sure we're all aware, Executive Assistant Susan's sudden vacation has affected Confuto Ordinatio in a severely negative manner.

What I propose, as an immediate solution, is hiring an equally qualified temp executive assistant to fill in for her duties to ensure everything is in order until her return.

To make sure that this doesn't happen again, I propose that the Executive Assistant is required to give, at the least, four days notice before she is to take a vacation to give us enough time to arrange for a qualified temp.

Man, I was reading my crystals and the Amazonite like completely cracked! It's baaaad vibes man - there's totally negativity and lack of harmony among some people there that is spreading and upsetting the balance of the inner cosmos of 0134.

In order for us to be completely righteous in our responsibility to the multiverse we need to set the flow of positive forces back in place. This isn't something I can do by myself unfortunately. I propose that we requisition a few battle ships for the purpose of training exercises.

This would include the TRM-032156 "Imperial Hammer", the Syltherian Cruiser Class 462366 "Windrider", the SG-8256427 "Operative", and the Aethr Support-Class 354128 "Magiguard" for a diverse range of battleships.

I would also encourage those who have their own to join in the exercise.

As some of you may know, we had passed a uniform bill almost a year ago. While a contest had been held to select the design, all designs had been rejected by the Council for various valid reasons, and thus it had laid dormat.

Recently, Senior Councilor Sheila had attempted to recreate a "Fan Service" outline of uniforms. While I respect her initiative, the design had an overwhelmingly negative response from the whole of 0134. As that we have again fail to find a design that is suitable for work, and finding that many of our Agents and Enforcers are against the idea of an uniform and find it demoralizing...

Bill proposal: In my research, I came across these Gate Bore thingies. Why aren't we using those to work at catching the perpetrators of this reprehensible act? Or even better: using them to allow more people to escape unharmed? At the VERY least as a method of reclaiming our own personnel.

I am hearby requesting three Gate Bores to be put at the disposal of division 0134 for the reasons listed above, their use to be monitored by the division's councilors.
